Westlake, the film’s supporting cast includes John Leguizamo, Bernie Mac, Larry Miller, Nora Dunn, GQ, and William Fichtner. Upon its release on June 1, 2001, the film was a commercial disappointment as it brought in only $38,464,131 worldwide on a $60,000,000 budget.
