Binance to transfer huge amounts of Bitcoin (BTC)

Popular crypto exchange Binance transferred a large amount of Bitcoin (BTC) between wallets while BTC was holding the $ 60,000 level. Cryptocurrency data tracker BitInfoCharts has detected a massive transaction of 36,306 BTC worth over $2.21 billion.

The coin was sent in two transactions, 35,236 BTC ($2.15 billion) and 1,069 BTC ($65 million). A wallet received 20,000 BTC worth more than $1.2 billion in less than nine minutes. At the same time, another wallet collected 16,306 BTC ($993.39 million).

Transfer Fee Only $3.47

Sending 35,236 BTC, the Binance wallet was the 24th richest Bitcoin wallet in existence before the transaction. Binance only paid $3.47 worth of fees when transferring. As is known, crypto exchanges occasionally move large amounts of digital assets for security purposes.

All of the sending and receiving wallets have been identified by BitInfoCharts as the exchange’s cold wallets. Cold wallets are physical hardware wallets that can keep digital assets completely offline. They are generally considered more secure than software-based and internet-connected hot wallets.
