Nascar racing driver Landon Cassill will begin receiving payments in cryptocurrencies after signing a sponsorship deal with crypto investment app Voyager, a first for the iconic auto racing company.
Its payment will mainly consist of Bitcoin and Litecoin.
Cassill has been involved with crypto for several years, so he’s pretty “comfortable” in the face of the groundbreaking move.
There are a handful of drivers interested in crypto, but I’ve probably been in this business long enough and am pretty comfortable with how it works.
The 31-year-old driver says he can use some of his cryptocurrency to pay bills, but plans to keep the rest.
