Charles Hoskinson, the famous name behind Cardano and co-founder of Ethereum, explained exactly in which aspects Cardano is superior to Ethereum. Hoskinson stated that he thinks Cardano’s superiority will continue with the arrival of Ethereum 2.0.
In an interview with Yahoo Finance, Hoskinson stated that the chances of Ethereum 2.0 surpassing Cardano are very slim. Acknowledging that the Proof-of-Stake-based update, Ethereum 2.0, brought great innovations, Hoskinson emphasized that Cardano will “take the battle ahead”, however.
Hoskinson emphasized that Cardano surpassed Ethereum in Proof-of-Stake and will use the “first advantage” and underlined that their technology is advanced and superior than ETH.
According to Hoskinson, the biggest feature of Cardano is that it is compatible with other platforms such as Cosmos and Polkadot. Hoskinson emphasized that Cardano is superior in this way, stating that this is not possible on Ethereum due to the high transaction fees.
According to Hoskinson, there is a significant user base difference between ADA and ETH. Cardano specifically focuses on users within Africa, and according to Hoskinson, Ethereum doesn’t care at all.
Believing that Cardano will be used at the level of governments, Hoskinson underlined that this is the biggest difference. Emphasizing that the network will also have smart contract support, especially with the Alonzo update, Hoskinson also had a great expectation.
