NFT Collection to launch for upcoming James Bond movie

No Time To Die is FIRST James Bond film to include NFT collectibles.

VeVe, the largest mobile-first digital collectibles platform, will launch a digital NFT collection for the upcoming movie of the iconic James Bond franchise. It has partnered with leading entertainment company Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios (MGM).

Fans will be able to purchase new movie-inspired collections, including a glider and Safrin’s Mask, exclusively through the VeVe app. Collections such as a glider inspired by the new movie and Safrin’s Mask will be available for purchase through the VeVe app, available for download from the App Store and Google Play. The first release date for the James Bond NFTs will be announced soon.

MGM Marketing Director Stephen Bruno said; “As one of the longest-running and most successful film franchises of all time, James Bond continues to evolve and innovate to meet the demands of our loyal audiences around the world. We are excited to partner with VeVe to create the first digital collection from No Time To Die, and to offer fans an exclusive opportunity to own a piece of film history.”

While most of the details regarding the NFT auction are still secret, other iconic items from the James Bond series “No Time to Die” will also be featured.

Dan Crothers, VeVe’s co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, said: “As Bond fans, with the legacy of the film franchise and its continuing influence around the world, we are excited to bring a range of Bond digital collections to VeVe and our passionate collector community.”

Via the VeVe platform, fans can showcase their digital collections as 3D dioramas in the app’s virtual showrooms, virtually visiting, commenting on and liking other collectors’ showrooms. VeVe also offers an augmented reality (AR) photography mode that allows collectors to 3D interact with each digital collection and share their collections on VeVe’s in-app social feed, external social platforms. Additionally, VeVe achieved a 99.9% reduction in its environmental footprint using Ethereum’s layer 2 scaling protocol, Immutable X.
