Screenwriters Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel) and Lindsey Beer (Sierra Burgess is a Loser) will write the screenplay with the production of Depth of Field by Chris and Paul Weitz.
The film will use the photo-realistic CGI technique used in Disney’s versions of “The Jungle Book” and “The Lion King”. The story of the deer Bambi, who lived with the death of his mother from the hands of a hunter and who became a friend with a rabbit and skunk before dealing with this situation, will be modernly adapted to the screen.
