Stung by the childhood execution of her innocent father, Nikki Barrington (Isabella Hofmann) is an investigative reporter who crusades for innocent men on death row. That leads her to Tyler Nash (James Wilder), wrongly convicted of murdering a woman. Nikki falls for Tyler, to the point where she lies to get him out. But, once freed, Tyler starts showing an aggressive and violent side. And suddenly there are more dead young women piling up. Nikki starts to wonder if Tyler is guilty after all.
