Me, Myself and I (1992)

Me, Myself and I (1992)

A successful New York writer falls for a woman with schizophrenia who turns out to have several personalities, not all of them desirable.

Me, Myself and I movie storyline. The subject of multiple personality disorder provides a seemingly irresistible lure for the makers of movie comedies, perhaps because of the opportunity it gives a star to grandstand their range and virtuosity.

Here JoBeth Williams, so memorable in Poltergeist, gives her absolute best as the schizophrenic romancing George Segal, but she simply doesn’t have the screen presence to carry the film. Director Pablo Ferro made his name designing the titles for such classic movies as Dr Strangelove and Bullitt; after this ill-advised foray into the major league, he wisely returned to his former profession.

Me, Myself & I is a 1992 American romantic comedy film starring JoBeth Williams and George Segal. The film is the directorial debut of editor and producer Pablo Ferro. Don Calfa, Shelley Hack, Betsy Lynn George, Bill Macy, Sharon McNight, Sheila Scott-Wilkenson, Jaid Barrymore and Jennifer Ashley also appear in this independent film.
